Azlan Othman is currently the Head of Styling for PROTON and has been with the company for over 14 years. His First Degree is in Industrial Design (Automotive Design) and in 2007 he obtained his Masters in Design Technology from UiTM Shah Alam. He is now actively pursuing his Ph.D. Although his expertise is primarily in the automotive sector he has also been actively involved in numerous other fields of art & design. With passion as his main driver, he has won awards for participating in competitions ranging from furniture design, digital arts and industrial design.



In his professional career he has travelled extensively around the globe to work with customers, consultants, clients and counterparts from every level of the automotive value chain. He has also represented PROTON for presentations & events in Asia, UK and Europe on topics ranging from PROTON's function within the Malaysian Industrialization Plan to brand growth strategies for the PROTON Design Group.
