I am also required to actively participate in national and international forums, committees and working groups to keep abreast of the latest technology and business developments and related matters. I am also expected to proactively explore and exploit collaborative and consultancy opportunities in national and international programs in order to enhance the business performance of the Centre.
I will assist the President in planning and developing the short, medium and long-term strategic Business plan in automotive industry relevant to the national developmental objectives as well as the business objectives of the Company.

The role will also involve linking the AEC to other SIRIM’s research centres and other operational units and subsidiaries which could support its mission and objectives.
I have to establish and maintain close contacts and relationships with national and international agencies, research and industrial organizations, associations or R&D companies to establish collaborative R&D projects, technology ventures of mutual benefit and business prospecting relating to automotive industry. I am also required to actively participate in national and international forums, committees and working groups to keep abreast of the latest technology and business developments and related matters. I am also expected to proactively explore and exploit collaborative and consultancy opportunities in national and international programs in order to enhance the business performance of the Centre.
I will assist the President in planning and developing the short, medium and long-term strategic Business plan in automotive industry relevant to the national developmental objectives as well as the business objectives of the Company.
